FAMILY GAME NIGHT: Family game night is the perfect way to get the family together and have some fun! Make some time out of your busy week to get together and make game night happen. It has to be a night that works for everyone. You can write it on your calendar and set a reminder in your phones. Decide what food you’ll have for game night. Whether you all go out and get some different snacks, cook a meal at home or order a pizza, make sure that everyone has something they’d be willing to eat. Set out more than one game for your family to play (i.e. Monopoly, Scrabble, Jenga, Operation, Twister, etc.) so that everyone has a game they will enjoy!
FAMILY BIKE RIDE: Gather the family together on a brisk fall morning and take a nice bike ride around town. It’s a great way to enjoy the scenery and also work in a little family time.
BACKYARD FAMILY FOOTBALL: If you’re having some relatives over for the holidays, it’s the perfect time to get together and create a game of football right in your very own backyard!
RAKE LEAVES AS A FAMILY: Together as a family, go out in your front yard and backyard and rake all of the leaves that have fallen off the trees. Bring a tarp or some kind of larger trash bag to throw them all into when you’re done. Before you get rid of the leaves, make some nice piles you and the kids can jump in! Be sure to take pictures.
FAMILY FALL MOVIE NIGHT: Sit the whole family down in the living room and watch a movie! Whether you put in a DVD, pick something from Netflix, or just turn on the Hallmark channel, there are so many options for movies this time of year. Pop some popcorn and pull out a couple pints of ice cream or candy, and enjoy your time together.
