VEGETABLE SOUP

OLD FASHIONED VEGETABLE SOUP: On a chilly day soup is always a nice treat to warm up and feel good. Make some yummy Homemade Old Fashioned Soup! This recipe is preservative/gluten free! First, you need to slow-cook roast beef in a crock-pot for at least eight hours. Separate the roast beef from the broth. Use a fat separator to strain the broth, removing excess drippings and place it back into a stockpot. Take two forks and shred the beef. Bring the broth to a low boil and add a variety of fresh vegetable (carrots, celery, green beans, potatoes, diced tomatoes, onions, corn and preservative-free kidney beans). Place a lid on the stock pot and simmer the soup until the vegetables are tender. Add the shredded beef and simmered soup just a little longer and let the beef get completely hot. Now you have some delicious Homemade Old Fashioned Soup!

SLOW COOKER VEGETABLE BEEF SOUP: This is perfect for warming up on a cold day! Season cubed beef with seasoned salt and pepper. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Brown beef in a skillet on all sides. Transfer beef to a slow cooker. Add remaining ingredients, stir and cover. Cook on low for about 8 – 10 hours. Test it to see how done it is by checking the potato to see if it is soft and the beef to make sure it’s not tough. Remove bay leaves and serve!

ITALIAN VEGETABLE SOUP: This recipe takes only 30 minutes! First you need to brown beef and onions, stir in carrots, celery, tomatoes, tomato sauce, kidney beans, water and beef broth and Italian spices. Bring the soup to a boil and reduce to a simmer for 15 – 20 minutes. Stir in cabbage if you would like!, and now you’ve made Italian Vegetable Soup!
