Who doesn’t love pumpkin scented candles this time of year? We sure do! Here is a DIY on how to make one your self. Some things you’ll need: 4 small mason jars (or two big ones), 2 tbs. pumpkin spice, ½ cup liquid walnut or olive oil, one package of bleached candle wick, a pound of premium candle wax, scissors, tape, and a medium pot. Pour the oil in the pot and let it simmer over low heat. Don’t let it boil! Add in the pumpkin spice and stir. Remove the pan from the heat and let it cool by setting it aside. Put the infused pumpkin spice oil in a jar and infuse for a couple of days. Set the wax chips into the pot and put the temperature at medium-high. Add 4 tbs. of stearic acid to make the wax more durable. Allow the wax to cool and add the wick to the jar. Use tape to keep it straight up. Then, add oil to the mason jar and fill the rest of it with wax. Stir to combine them. Store in the freezer for up to 20 minutes. Now you have a beautiful smelling candle that you can say you made!
