FRIENDSGIVING PARTY IDEAS

Whether you are stuck for the holidays and can’t get home, or you just want a good reason to celebrate with your friends, having a Friendsgiving is a great way to celebrate and be thankful to be surrounded by your best friends. Here are some ideas for your Friendsgiving party:

BIG BALLOONS: Add some large balloons to your party to spell out Friendsgiving. You can go to Party City for them or go on a website like Etsy and order the balloons online! Choose from colors like gold, black, silver, bronze or pink! Whatever your preference is, these balloons will be an easy way to add some fun texture to a plain wall, or add it to your backdrop for photo taking!

DIY BACKDROP: Put together a display for the party that has some type of banner or balloons, alcohol, pretty paper straws (you can get these from Party City) and cups, pumpkins (or something else that is Autumn themed) and food. These things together will create a beautiful display for your Friendsgiving party!

THANKSGIVING PLAYLIST: Music makes everything better. Create a Thanksgiving playlist that has songs about being thankful and are relaxing.

TABLE SETTING: Use real napkins, tablecloth, wine glasses/water glasses. Add flowers and maybe even candles. Anything Autumn/Thanksgiving themed for table décor works perfectly. You can even add place cards with everyone’s name for where they’ll be sitting!

PARTING GIFTS: It’s almost expected that guests leave a Thanksgiving gathering with leftovers (like, apple pie, obvi J). Give them an adorable take-home box so they will have an easy way to take leftovers home with them and take them off your hands. Choose from pie boxes, turkey treat boxes, personalized Thanksgiving koozies, or other Thanksgiving leftover containers, to-go cups and bags.
