BOHEMIAN HAIRSTYLE BRAIDS

HALF-UP FISHTAIL BRAID:
For a girly, bohemian style braid, try the half-up fishtail braid. The first thing you need to do is grab hair from both sides of your head. Twist them and tie in a small elastic. Divide this section. Start doing the fishtail braid on the hair you just selected. Once the fishtail braiding is done, gently pull at the sides of the braid to make it come out a little bit and look more relaxed. Then viola! You have a finished half-up fishtail braid.

MILKMAID BRAID:
In order to do the milkmaid braid, you must have long hair. First thing you need to do is make a center part in your hair. Tie off one side in a ponytail to keep it out of the way for the next step. On one side, start the braid just under the lower part of your ear. Make sure the braid is loose with flyaways and tie with an elastic. Repeat this on the opposite side. Pull the first braid over the crown of your head and around your head. Make it secure with bobby pins, especially along the length of the braid to keep it from falling down. Do this on the other side, too. Finish with hairspray, and you’ve now created a milkmaid braid!

SWEATER WEATHER BRAID:
Start this look with long, loose waves. Loosely section your hair into two parts. Start each braid as a fishtail braid. Pull your hair into a third section about an inch or two down to start making a three-strand braid. Braid the three-strand for another inch or two before switching back to the fishtail braid. Continue this as a pattern for the braid. Then carefully tug on the braids, loosely pulling them out a little bit for a relaxed and full look.
