AUTUMN ACTIVITIES

APPLE PICKING: Something fun to do in Autumn with the kids—or even your significant other—is apple picking! Try to choose an orchard based off of what type of apples they offer, how much walking you will be doing, and if they have extra fun activities for you as well as snacks! Try to dress appropriately for the weather/time of day in which you are going. Rain boots might be a good choice of shoes in case there is rain or mud. Bring your camera or phone to take lots of pictures of the orchard and whomever you are there with {if you didn’t post it, it didn’t happen, right? ;)}

AUTUMN DISPLAY IN HOUSE: Decorate your fireplace or an empty counter top space with some Autumn themed decorations. You can add pumpkins (various pumpkin options i.e. painted pumpkins, large pumpkins, small pumpkins, pumpkins with flowers inside them, etc.), acorns, leaves, a string of lights, candles (tall and short), and many other decorations to create a beautiful Autumn display in your home!

VISIT A PUMPKIN PATCH: Find a pumpkin patch that has lots of fun activities, so you and whomever you’re with can have lots of things to choose from! It’s the best when pumpkin patches have yummy snacks like caramel apples! Go to a pumpkin patch with a friend and take home a few beautiful pumpkins you can decorate.
