Looking to beat the heat with a cool treat? We’ve got the best ice cream spots in the city for you (personally taste tested by our in-house ice cream aficionado).

Big Gay Ice Cream
Big Gay Ice Cream is known for its eye-catching creations with unique names like “Salty Pimp” and “American Globs.” Despite having two locations in the West and East Village Big Gay is still almost always overflowing with hungry customers. You can't go wrong with this menu, just make sure to get a Nutella lined cone!

Dominque Ansel
Dominique Ansel is the pastry genius who brought us the cronut, and a new way to get milk and cookies. This summer he's introduced two new soft serve flavors. They are burrata, the ultra creamy fresh Italian cheese, with balsamic caramel and a whole strawberry and Gianduja, somewhat like nutella, topped with salted hazelnut brittle, orange mist and sea salt. These delicious flavors are available on homemade cones Friday - Sunday 12-9pm.

Pop Bar
One delicious bite and you will be hooked on Pop Bar. They serve a wide variety of fruity popsicles, creamy gelato pops and Hot Chocolate on a stick. All of the gelato is kosher certified, and gluten free! Visit their West Village location today!

Momofuku Milk Bar
Most known for their cereal milk soft serve, Momofuku is one of the hottest spots in town for ice cream. Its made with milk, cornflakes, brown sugar, and a pinch of salt, giving it the taste of the milk at the bottom of a bowl of cornflakes!

Amorino
Come and get Italian gelato at its finest from Amorino. They offer 20 different flavors of gelato served in a cup, in a scone, on a waffle or crepe or in their signature flower-shaped scoop served on waffle cones- almost too pretty to eat!
